Sparkz wins $15M from CAEATFA

Sparkz has passed along an exciting press relase for us today, announcing that on July 16 they were awarded $15M in tax exemptions by the California Alternative Energy and Advanced Transportation Financing Authority (CAEATFA) chaired by State Treasurer Fiona Ma.

This catalytic investment into the California economy will help Sparkz establish the first-of-a-kind (FOAK) cathode material manufacturing facility in Sacramento to create hundreds of good-paying local jobs in disadvantaged communities. Sparkz cathode material will be produced using US-sourced input materials and no conflict minerals.
