HeroWear Proves Exosuit Efficacy
HeroWear has been able to prove the efficacy of the Apex2 Exosuit in a study observing results from 280,000 hours of work (equivilent to 140 full time employees working 40 hours for one year, 50-60M lifts) and has been able to conclusively determine that the suit drastically decreases injury potential and realization in the workplace:
0 Back injuries were reported during the study for workers wearing exosuits
25% decrease in bodily discomfort (self-reported by workers)
20% reduction in fatigue (self-reported by workers)
Exosuits take 20-40% of the load off a user’s back muscles and reduce the fatigue of regular motions used by workers in warehouse and fulfillment spaces.
From URM (a food distributor in the Northwestern US):
“We take pride in protecting our hard-working warehouse pickers. The data proves how HeroWear’s product is truly changing the game,” says URM’s Director of EH&S Phil Heide. “We look for innovative ways to improve the quality of our team members’ lives, and HeroWear is helping us do that.”
With many exciting developments ahead and the proof of the study out, we expect this company to drastically take hold and change the way warehouses function in the future. Read the full study below and the press release on MMH.com.
