Eric Dobson is the Managing Partner of both Community Equity Partners, LLC and the Sheltowee Venture Fund II, LP. He spent the last 31 years working in government, entrepreneurship, and venture-style investing, the last 20 in start-up technology ventures. He founded three companies, advised dozens, and led investments in 50+ companies. Dr. Dobson has served on a number of Board of Directors and Advisors with for profit and not-for-profit companies. He holds a BA from the University of Tennessee where he is also a Lecturer of Entrepreneurship in the Tickle School of Engineering. He received a Masters of Science and Doctorate from the University of South Carolina. He now applies all the hard-earned knowledge and experience from these ventures and exploits to venture capital investing.
